Redesigning a logo and website that stands out from competitors
NMT is an elite group of individuals with highly specialized expertise and training. With ICU and EMU brain monitoring a part of 24/7/365 standard medical practice, NMT is eliminating the concern for hospitals to recruit hard-to-find trained neuromonitoring specialists.
NMT approached us to design a new logo suitable for both digital and print applications, and a modern, responsive website redesign that incorporated movement.
NMT’s biggest stylistic request for the website was for it to have movement. The line pattern in our new logo lends itself towards animation, so we created two animated versions of our logo. The homepage hero shows a version that continually traces the brainwave pattern, and the footer traces the NMT lettering implied in the logo.
For interior pages, we deployed a ‘particle generator’ that creates randomized moving patterns reminiscent of neuron connections in the brain. This approach displays much higher-resolution than a video at a fraction of the bandwidth.
We created a new logo by combining a visual of a brain wave with the initials “NMT”. For their primary color we chose a blue that is unique from their competitors and represents health and wellness. The end result was something simple and unique that is adaptable for various applications.
